TRAVEL AMERICA article by: James Thomas Fridas
Is travel season over? September 3,2013
Well its the end of summer they say but I think its time to take a vacation from the stress of summer, don't you agree? Good! Then lets see where we can go! We could travel America or we could travel to Mexico or several other nations.
My brother and I went to Isleton just over the Antioch bridge and visited several campgrounds as Bob my brother has been asked to set up tours for the RV people at the campgrounds in Isleton which include KOA, Lighthouse Marina Restaurant and Resort plus the Rancho Marina resort.
Tours will consist of wine tours, the Jelly Belly factory, old town Sacramento and other area's the tours will be posted on Diamond Coach Tours website with log in for the people to secure their seats, there are 55 passengers on one bus and other buses consist of 47 passenger buses, the days will vary from Monday to Friday.
We will of course post more information regarding the tours, of course my article will add information for tours with different organizations so watch for this and more in future articles. Normally I write articles in advance with the idea of what I will do so I may have a jump on writing an article rather than writing it from scratch so you will understand how I write.
Thank you for being a reader and I hope that I can write what you are looking for of course comments and questions are always acceptable so do not hesitate to ask or comment!

A girl made a bet she could ride her bicycle to South America and won the bet! Incredible from Northern America through Mexico Central America and then Columbia, Ecuador, Peru to Chile and then Argentina, what a trip that was!
How about you could you do that? That was a job for sure! So Get your bike and see how far you can ride! Diamond Coach Tours is planning something in the works for next year we are told that Bob plans to run the North Top Alaska tour from May 1 2014 to September 15, 2014 with a run up the Maine Highway, so stay tuned for more information.

LETS TRAVEL
THE FIRST STEP article by: James Thomas Fridas
JULY 3, 2014
Remember that tomorrow is Independence Day keep it safe and stay away from the fireworks, let the pros do it! I know people who lost their eyes and their limbs from fireworks so keep it safe!!! With that here is today's travel announcements and travel planning!
Travel can be fun! So much fun if done right, here we have more information for you and the family that we would also like to direct your attention to bus charters, cruise lines and
vacations abroad.
Confucius is credited with the saying :A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step:! Guess what? The plain truth is that Confucius never made that statement, yet some how he has been given credit for it anyways!
In reality it makes darn good sense, so lets do it! On Tuesday April 16 2013 my brother and I were venturing up to Isleton along the Sacramento river where we plan on visiting four different RV parks as we have been invited to set up bus tours for the RV park and its customers.
We went to the Owl Harbor Marina where we saw some beautiful yachts and other small craft in the harbor and then we ventured up to Rivers Edge Marina again we spotted numerous beautiful yachts and other boats like a large house boat that was built on a large river barge and a hotel of sorts on another barge then a large barge that was something else not sure what it was but they were nice looking craft.
Then we ventured over to San Andrea RV park another nice place we have a friend that is staying there so we spent a few hours here and then drove up the rest of the way to highway 12 where we proceeded to highway 162 and then headed back to Antioch.
These are the kinds of trips that people can plan, there are restaurants and other places of interest that you can stop into, especially if there are any produce markets which I love to stop into and see what I can pick up for the house.
This is James Thomas Fridas signing off for today I truly hope you enjoy these travel tips and other information I provide here! For more information listen to my pod cast at the following address: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/jimfridas

FOOD AND CONTESTS WIN MONEY TOO!
FOOD 101 article by: James Thomas Fridas
Would you like to find food for all occasions and can't! Well there are sites out there that are 100% food lovers in disguise and the site you see there in this post has recipes for food junkies to search so as for me have a ball and click the link and expose your self to the menu of food!
http://sophiejoe.webs.com/ I haven't put this on the web yet, soon though so check it out and let me know what you are looking for if its not there yet.
Having been a chef, cook and restaurant employee in the food business long before I went into real estate I was even a food demonstrator in the Price Club for over six years then started my own food company manufacturing foods and then I had to be my mothers care giver until her passing that is when I went into real estate.
So I returned to food for a short while and have since thought that I will start another food business cooking in peoples homes, mostly dinners and maybe some other area's like parties and things of this nature.
My biggest venture in years gone by was with a company called "Yurika" and it was promising until the President stole 100 million dollars and the company went out of business, and I was making a good living, thanks Mr president!
Then I discovered another excellent company called Luster Craft owned by West Bend as well as making other top of the line cookware as stainless steel is the best there is.
I learned how to cook with stainless steel as it so different than cooking with the other kinds of inferior cookware. I paid over $2,00.00 for my set back in 1995 WOW! Today that set costs more but I love it and that is one of the best investments I have ever made.
So I am looking for a new job and I will keep you posted if and when I find a cooking position in California, you see Boston isn't my cup of tea! Pun intended! Maybe any position that pays a pay check for now need dough you know!
There are numerous contests on the Internet as well that pay cash to winners from $10. to $1 million dollars yup $1 million dollars, that would be Pillsbury Bake off going on now check the Internet for their web site enter and win the mega bucks!!!

UP UP AND AWAY
HOW HIGH IS UP TO YOU article by: James Thomas Fridas
When all systems are go! June 16, 2013
I am of course always looking for the next story or article to write, I try to make my article interesting as possible so they are worthy of your time, I have a new web site I am working on and am working on a launch date to introduce it to the world, I need a name for the site and it is harder than writing the story itself.
In the beginning people were using email to write sales letters to the Internet world, then came email marketing like constant contact, mail chimp and more, then came newsletters, and now we have newspapers and magazines reaching the masses.
In addition I plan on photographing churches by groups, for example Orthodox churches in a series of posts and Catholic Churches in another series and then Protestant Churches in another series so as soon as I can up load into my word press news letters I will inform you here and there!
In the mean time I have been working on my Visa and passports they are a job, start early because errors can cause delays, how I learned that lesson and you will to if you make an error.
I found that many of the travel writers are using photography to show pictures of their travels so to are there companies that want those pictures so you can double dip if your going to make a living at travel writing!
I have a number of blogs that pay good fee's to writers of every genre so if you are interested in earning a living writing then check out my money making blogs and I will provide that information for you.

MORE TRAVEL article by: James Thomas Fridas
Is The Car Ready? June 9, 2013
I will review several restaurants as well as other accommodations hotels, motels and the like! I am planning on a trip to Reno soon plus Sparks Carson City and Yerington! So get ready and of course with summer gaining speed its time to get the car ready, pack the kids and as always do not forget the WIFE! Or else!!!
OK, before we get to involved in the idea of a summer vacation lets get the planning down pat first! If your planning on going to a foreign country check out all the possible things that you could use, starting with the hotel, then a rental car, however did you know that in Mexico a cab usually a van is cheaper than most rental cars!
The exciting thing about travel is to go to places that you never have been to before and if the kids are along for the ride, providing you have kids they will be excited! Next I should inform you that I will be launching y new website soon as soon as my IT tech finishes it, I already have the domain it is jimstravelguide.com but it isn't live yet so get ready as soon as it is I will send you an email.
I am planning on a lot of travel this summer into fall so be ready as I mentioned in another newsletter I generally write what I am going to do before I do it so I have a good head start on the newsletter, prevents sleeping at the computer a little!
Actually there are two new restaurants that opened in Oakley recently and I plan on going to them this next week so I will be able to tell you about them to some degree. I have a word press blog titled Jim's Restaurant Review which I will actually re title with my new word press blog.
We are getting hungry, so I think its time to visit a restaurant, but first, I know its always lets get this last thing out of the way before we eat so we don't forget, we are going to send you several stories I have on Ghost Towns they are always exciting, so watch for them they are a comin'!!!!
Before we get to involved in where to go we want to let you know that we are preparing our travel club which we hope to debut soon, along with our bus charter company which will be independent of the corporation yet very connected, more details coming soon!

TRAVELERS SPECIAL EDITION part # 2
TRAVEL DELIGHT article by: James Thomas Fridas
No Speeding! JUNE 4, 2014
A note for Californians the state legislature has increased fines for traffic offenses to the tune of insane fee's as has ever been extracted from motorists, all I can say is "CRIMINAL"! A friend of mine and his son were returning from Pleasanton and as they went by a cop and a motorist on the side of the road the second car proceeded after my friends son, when they asked what they did he said you didn't pull over to the other lane that will cost you around $700.00!!!
If that's not enough to shock the sh-t out of you I don't know what would, that was as far as I am concerned a true act of totalitarian horse manure!!!!
Its a matter of personal preference, take an RV, take a van, take a truck or a car and a tent, go for the enjoyment and the fun. OK so lets look at where and when. Please remember that all travel is relevant from going to church to going to the mall to going to work, this is technically travel as well!
If you live on the west coast you are at an advantage as to the sites such as Ghost Towns and caverns that are in most western states, on the east coast you are at an advantage for mineral sites for tourists.
Start the with a weekend joint to the country, if you live in a major city in your state there are many places in the country that offer unique viewing for city slickers, take the camera!!!
The Grand Canyon is a major attraction for tourists and it is usually packed to the rafters with tourists especially in the summer months, so is Yosemite with overflow people another major attraction is of course Yellowstone National Park which is another major attraction for the adventurer in you with mean grizzlies who will eat you and your lunch!
However have you ever thought about going to off the beaten path to some of the less traveled scenic sites and places that have as much attraction only less publicity like caverns they are all over the west and there are a few in the east, then there are a host of Ghost Towns there are hundreds throughout the west.
During our writing and various posts I will also review restaurants, hotels motels and other places for your convenience, I will even write about cruise ships, airlines, charters on air, sea and land of a variety for you.
Some of the things I have enjoyed over the years are the auto shows that are held in many communities around my neck of the woods from Marysville to Rocklin to Brentwood in Contra Costa County, I mention that because a football player lived in the other Brentwood in Southern California.
Next we will of course look at a variety of interactions with groups for example would you like to be on a bus charter? Perhaps a group of RVs on a local trip? Maybe a group of auto enthusiasts who go in a group to a certain destination? Maybe trucks going to trucking events? Whatever the event or situation we will write about it here!
Special announcement Jim's Travel Guide is now online, while I have not posted any articles I will so please be patient, I also have Bus Tours blog and Americans Travleing blog I will attach a link in the main web site and you will have them all in one place! Thanks for your support and being a reader!
